Blink-182 recently was forced to cancel their fall tour dates, including a headlining slot at Chicago’s Riot Fest due to Travis Barker’s blood clots, but last night Weezer made sure they were there in spirit.
Rivers Cuomo and company were brought onboard the Riot Fest lineup as a replacement for the pop-punk trio, and they paid tribute to Blink-182 by covering "All the Small Things," which peaked at No. 6 on the Streets Talkin Hot 100 in the months following its release as the second single off 1999's Enema of the State.
Cuomo also performed the song a few nights earlier during an acoustic solo set in San Francisco at August Hall, where he introduced it by declaring, “Weezer always has Blink’s back.”
