Verzuz continues to make huge strides. The thriving platform, created by production heavyweights Timbaland and Swizz Beatz, has just announced its new partnership with the interactive fitness platform Peloton. Dubbed Peloton Verzuz, the new collaboration will merge the power of music and fitness to bring “an unparalleled experience” to its members.

The Peloton Verzuz experience, which will celebrate music by legends, will occur during Peloton’s classes that are available via the Peloton Bike, Tread and App.

Grammy-winning R&B legends Brandy and Monica will kick off the series in honor of Women’s History Month. Peloton Members will use the Tag function during their classes to decide whether they are on team #VerzuzBrandy or #VerzuzMonica.

It starts tonight (March 29) at 7 p.m. ET with “Brandy vs. Monica Run with Rebecca Kennedy,” followed by “Brandy vs. Monica Two for One Ride with Cody Rigsby and Emma Lovewell” (March 31 at 7:30 p.m. ET), and “Brandy vs. Monica Full Body Strength with Adrian Williams” (April 1 at 12 p.m. ET).

This isn’t Peloton’s first R&B collaboration. Last November, the fitness brand announced its multi-year partnership with Beyoncé, rooted in music and pro-social initiatives.

As for Verzuz, the music platform celebrated its first-anniversary last week and also won an NAACP Image Award for Outstanding Variety or Game Show (Series or Special).

Earlier this month, it was announced that Verzuz was acquired by Triller Network, the company that owns the Triller app. With their new deal, Swizz and Timbaland are now large shareholders of the company and have allocated some of their equity to past Verzuz participants. Additionally, Swizz and Timbaland have joined the Triller Verzuz management team to oversee music-related strategies.

This Sunday, April 4, Verzuz will host The Isley Brothers vs. Earth, Wind & Fire. On May 8, ’90s R&B girl groups Xscape and SWV will participate in the friendly competition. More Verzuz battles are scheduled for this year, including a Mother’s Day Special (May 9), a rematch on Memorial Day weekend, and a Ladies Night edition. More details are expected to be shared soon.
