It’s been over 20 years since the death Tupac Shakur and his murder case still remains open. This year, USA Network released Unsolved: The Murders Of Tupac AndBiggie which explored the death the iconic rappers. Recently, new details emerged on the rapper’s murder after a former gang member spoke up and confessed that he knew who killed Tupac. Earlier today, a report from KTNV claimed that an arrest was “imminent” following the former gang member’s confession. However, police have reportedly shot down that report.
According to a FOX5News reporter, the police have shared a statement pertaining to the “imminent” arrest in connection to Pac’s murder.
“We are aware the statements made in the BET interview regarding the Tupac case. As a result those statements we have spent the last several months reviewing the case in its entirety. Various reports that an arrest warrant is about to be submitted are inaccurate. This case still remains an open homicide case.” The statement read.
Duane Keith “Keffe D” Davis was the man who claimed to know who killed 2Pac. He was the uncle Orlando Anderson who was a prime suspect in the case but died two years after ‘Pac. Keffe D claimed that he’s the only person alive who could actually reveal who killed Tupac. However, he admitted that he only began coming out now because he has cancer and he cares about the truth coming out.
