After releasing the self reflective, acoustic Solitude in August, Tori Kelly is ready to skip Halloween and go straight to Christmas with her first-ever holiday album. Aptly titled A Tori Kelly Christmas, the album is set to arrive on October 30 via School Boy/Capitol Records.
Working as co-executive producer for the LP is legendary musician Kenneth “Babyface” Edmonds, with Kelly’s manager Scooter Braun also manning controls.
“I’m so grateful to Babyface for helping me create an album that I am so proud of. I still can’t believe that I got to work with such a legend on my first-ever Christmas album,” Kelly said about her experience collaborating with Babyface. “He really brought my vision to life and made every song so special.”
On social media, Kelly shared that she has been wanting to put out a festive-inspired album for “so long.” It’s expected to feature reimagined renditions of holiday classics, as well as two originals.
In addition to Babyface having the EP title, he also lent his voice to the record for the beloved favorite “Let It Snow.”
