Celebrating the 10th anniversary of their 2008 album Midnight Boom — The Kills rock, rolled and served up a timeless look at Conan on Wednesday evening (Oct. three) whereas performing "Sour Cherry."
Filled with heavyweight guitars and steady-on drums, the British-American duo (Jamie Hince and Alison Mosshart) proved that they haven't misplaced an inch of energy, vitality or drive with their forceful supply.
The energetic efficiency featured a robust vocal assault by Mosshart, complemented by Hince's mind-blowing, spiky punkabilly guitar riffs. "Made my blood thump Saturday evening/ Make my coronary heart beat double time/ Now I'm solely bitter cherry on the fruit stand, proper?" Mosshart sang in her signature raspy, clipped voice.
Dancing and headbanging all around the stage, the 39-year-old singer delivered a powerhouse efficiency as she embodied a traditional punk rock vibe, strapping on a guitar close to tune's finish so as to add some clipped, noisy strumming to the combination.
