Today we’ll be highlighting three TuneCore artists – Lar$$en, DC Young Fly, and Sosamann – as we kick off Week 4 of the contest.
Many independent artists wonder how to get their music on iTunes, Spotify, Apple Music, Tidal, and other stores. The reality is, you don’t have to be signed to a major label – all you need is a digital distributor. We recommend using industry leader TuneCore if you’re looking for a trustworthy and transparent service. For an affordable fee, TuneCore will host your album or single on all the major stores and streaming platforms. You get to keep all your rights and 100% of the sales revenue.
The Elizabeth, New Jersey native boasts over 10 million streams across all platforms, including hits with Ski Mask the Slump God, Jay Critch and Fatboy SSE. Lar$$en’s musical style is a variety of of catchy hooks & beats mixed with melodic vibes.
DC Young Fly
DC Young Fly gained notoriety for his celeb-roast videos on Instagram, which earned co-signs from the likes of Kevin Hart, LeBron James, Michael Blackson, Chris Tucker and others. He parlayed that into a recurring role on Wild ‘N Out, and eventually became an opening act for Chris Brown‘s “Party Tour.”
In 2018, the Atlanta-native released his mixtape “Curb Music” and most recently dropped his latest mixtape “Trap Soul,” which includes “Keep It Playa,” “Tired” and “Gotta Go.”
Sosamann, a Houston native and Sauce Factory affiliate, is known to mix in melodic singing with his animated punchlines, switching up his flows in sync with whatever emotions the sauce has him feeling. His catalog includes tracks with Lil Wayne, The Sauce Twinz and Young Dolph, just to name a few.
