A couple years back SHIRT went from an artist that I considered to be pretty nice to an artist who, when he drops new music, I drop everything to listen. The Queens MC consistently lays down highly entertaining and meticulously crafted verses and his ear for beats is superb. Following the release lead tracks “Climate Change,” “Palace Intrigue” and “Flight Home,” he delivers Pure Beauty, his first project since joining Jack White’s Third Man Records. The album, available to stream now, was partly inspired by the work artist John Baldessari, and will be available on black vinyl with alternate artwork by the conceptual artist on February 23rd. The project is 11-tracks deep with production contributions from Steel Tipped Dove, San Holo, Ricky Dubs, Zois, New York, Donnie Fontaine, Chase and others.
