Popcaan Shot Back At Promoter Who Threaten To Sue "Bring It On" – Urban Islandz

Popcaan has reacted to a Bahamian promoter who is suing him for not showing up for a show.

Last week, Damien Thomas, who heads Bahamas based MVP Entertainment, publicly called out Popcaan for ducking on a show in Abaco Islands leaving a lot angry patrons. The promoter threatened to sue the dancehall artist who he calls unpressional. Popcaan is now clopping back saying bring it on. The Unruly boss responded through his booking agency SMA Entertainment Consultants.

“Some these breaches the talent agreement contract include late and non payments, venue changes without notification, technical difficulties, lack venue accreditation, lack security and a private area for the artiste,” SMA said in a statement.

SMA added that it was the promoter who had to apologize to Popcaan’s team for his unpressional behavior. In their statement, the company cited numerous breaches the contract including errors made with the transportation for the artist and his entourage.

Popcaan’s attorney, Ron Young, also backed up some what SMA said. Young says that he reviewed the case and he believes that the promoter has no case. “Popcaan was never pulled f a flight last Sunday in the Bahamas,” Young said. The promoter posted on Facebook that the police were waiting at the airport to arrest Popcaan and Shane Brown, and Popcaan and his team who had never even checked in or reached the airport – voluntarily went to the Nassau police station at the airport.”

Popcaan also fered to return the deposit to the promoter which he declined. The Unruly Boss also apologized to his fans once again.
