Sometimes we allow our pride to hinder potential relationships rather than let our emotions do the talking. Talii, a rising pop singer from Orlando, finally lets her guard down after being hesitant toward love on her new single "Front Seat."

Premiering exclusively on Streets Talkin below, the summery uptempo is delicate, lush and reminscent of the tropics — which makes sense as Talii is of Trinidadian descent. "Remember when I left you, I was in deep/ Almost didn't make it, chains on my feet/ You're pulling me up out the water," she sings atop a percussion-driven production that pitter-patters like beach waves.

"The title [of the song] refers to moving your ego out of the driver's seat and allowing your true self to take the wheel," Talii explains to Streets Talkin. "It's a representation of appreciating and loving the person I'm becoming. ['Front Seat'] reflects my growth and evolution, not only musically but within my life overall.”

"Front Seat" follows Talii's previous singles "Lost" and "Mouth." The singer is currently prepping the release of her debut EP later this year. Groove to her latest tune below.
