Niall Horan's fans are eating up the singer's flirty new single "Nice to Meet Ya," and now they have a Post Malone cover to swoon over thanks to BBC Radio 1 Live Lounge. Horan stopped by Thursday to perform his latest release as well as a rendition of Post's "Circles," and honestly, we don't know which is better.
The 26-year-old Irishman played acoustic guitar on both tracks, and he was all smiles as he bounced along while singing. He changed up the inflection on the chorus of "Circles," but the biggest surprise came during the bridge of the Post Malone track, when he mixed in a snippet of Foster the People's "Pumped Up Kicks" — which fit the "Circles" melody perfectly.
His "Nice to Meet Ya" delivery was a little more true to form, but it was just as fun to watch, especially when he would harmonize with his bandmates on the song's hook and crack a smile. Whether Horan is playing his own song or someone else's, it's pretty clear he's just happy to be singing.
Horan recently announced a North American Tour for 2020, which will kick off in Nashville on April 20 and hit arenas around the country through May 20. Lewis Capaldi and Fletcher will serve as support for the tour.
