Maxwell Announces New Album 'Night,' Shares 'Shame': Listen


Maxwell introduced a brand new album titled Night and dropped the graceful serenade “Shame” on Friday (Oct. 5).

The suave jam, which Maxwell describes as a contemporary love tune, will seem on the third album in his R&B trilogy. The new album is due in 2019, and is preceded by blackSUMMERS’night time (2016) and BLACKsummers’night time (2009). 

The 45-year-old Grammy Award-winning artist first introduced the one Tuesday (Oct. 2) on social media. The clip reveals letters from the tune’s album cowl floating across the body. “SHAME • single vamp • from the forthcoming conclusion to the #BLACKSUMMERSNIGHT trilogy #NIGHTiscoming,” the singer wrote on Instagram. He adopted it up with 5 comparable movies within the days surrounding its launch.
