Mariah Carey has made Santa’s nice list again. Aside from checking off a second-run at number one on the Billboard Hot 100 and the U.K. Singles charts with “All I Want for Christmas is You,” Carey earns two multi-platinum gifts from the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA)

Both the icon’s 1994 holiday album Merry Christmas and the annual favorite “All I Want for Christmas” are now certified eight-times platinum by the RIAA. If the year-round listens and sales continue, the timeless album and iconic single will join the diamond family of 1993 Music Box and 1995’s Daydream.

As mentioned, Carey’s 19th Hot 100 leader, which topped the chart for the first time last year this time, is back for the second time at the summit this week. Meanwhile, the 26-year-old song made a stop from the North Pole to the mountaintop of the U.K. Singles for the very first time. It first charted on this abroad chart in October 1994.

Most recently, Carey’s Magical Christmas Special premiered on Apple TV+ to rave reviews. She accompanied the festive special with a soundtrack, which featured a collaborative version of “Oh Santa!” with Ariana Grande and Jennifer Hudson. It debuted at No. 76 on the Hot 100 this week.Â
