LCD Soundsystem Teams Up With 'Last Jedi' Director for New 'Oh Baby' Watch

In a galaxy far, far-off, LCD Soundsystem and The Last Jedi director Rian Johnson have teamed as much as create the New York City legends' latest music video, for "Oh Baby." Released solely on Tidal on Thursday (Sept. 20), the track is the opening monitor from the group's 2017 comeback album American Dream.  

The clip stars iconic actors Sissy Spacek and David Strathairn as scientists who’re within the midst of creating a teleportation gadget and embarking “on a devastatingly romantic journey of discovery, tragedy and everlasting love” till they’re hit by tragic circumstances.

In a press release, LCD Soundsystem’s frontman James Murphy stated of the video, “My purpose can be that it really works as a video for the track and the track works as a great soundtrack of the movie. Rather than a video that serves the track.”
