For the third time in her fruitful career, Jhené Aiko has captured a number one single on urban radio. “B.S.” featuring H.E.R., which is lifted from her Grammy-nominated album Chilombo, seizes the top spot with over 5,740 radio spins and nearly 25 million listener impressions. It’s Aiko’s first time atop the urban radio summit since her appearance on Omarion’s 2015 hit “Post to Be.”

This feat is not only monumental for Aiko, but for H.E.R. as well. It marks the multi-Grammy winning musician’s first leader on this radio chart. She collected most of her chart-toppers on the urban adult contemporary side, with “Make the Most” alongside Lonr. as her most recent hit.

On Spotify, the platinum-selling single “B.S.” has been played over 90.45 million times.

Aiko will vie for three awards at the 2021 Grammy Awards, including Album of the Year, Best Progressive R&B Album and Best R&B Performance for “Lighting & Thunder” with John Legend. Aiko’s nod in the former category makes her the first-lone female solo artist to score an Album of the Year nomination since Beyoncé’s Lemonade in 2017.

Chilombo won early acclaim from Rated R&B, appearing on the 16 Best R&B Albums of 2020 (So Far) list in July. Around the same time, Aiko re-released the LP with nine additional tracks.Â
