October has been good to H.E.R.

For one, the Grammy winner hit the number one spot for the fourth time on the Billboard Adult R&B Songs chart for “Make the Best” with Lonr. She later made her Saturday Night Live debut on an Adele-hosted episode where she premiered a new song (“Hold On”). Now the highly talented musician has expanded her gold and platinum plaque collection for her many hits and fan-favorite tracks.

Five songs from the singer/songwriter’s self-titled project, which won Best R&B Album at the 2019 Grammy Awards, have received gold certifications from the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA), including “Lights On,” “Avenue,” “Jungle,” “Changes,” and “Hard Place.” The latter received coveted nods in the categories of Song of the Year and Record of the Year at the recent ceremony in January.

“Every Kind of Way,” from the I Used to Know Her project, which earned a top 10 position on Rated R&B’s year-end list in 2018, sees platinum success.

Recently, H.E.R. joined Brandy, Teyana Taylor, and Erykah Badu at the 2020 BET Hip Hop Awards for a Ladies First cypher version of Brandy’s “I Wanna Be Down (Remix).” Watch the performance here.

H.E.R. also shared another new song titled “Damage” and was seen in the dramatic video for Toni Braxton’s latest “Gotta Move On.”
