French Montana heads to his homeland Morocco in the video for “Famous,” the latest single f last year’s Jungle Rules.
Directed by Montana and Director X, the scenic visual is a beautiful tour the rapper’s native country and its culture, with awe-inspiring views. A soccer match kicks f and a dance party breaks out, all while French sings about his lover on the Rico Love-penned single.
“I hope no one discovers you,” he croons over the dance-ready beat. “‘Cause if they knew what I know then I know I wouldn’t stand a chance / There’s no way you would go for a man like me if you had options.”
Last year, Montana said that “Famous” was JAY-Z’s favorite song f Jungle Rules. “JAY-Z hit me yesterday and said ‘Famous’ was his favorite record,” French said ( XXL). “I love him because he hit me with the, ‘I wish that record was mine. And I don’t wish for too much.’ And he ended it f with the laugh.”
Now, the song is Montana’s latest single, which he performed on “The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon” with the help a live band, belly dancers, and a couple soccer players. Watch the television debut “Famous” below.
