Diddy has been going through it since the unfortunate passing of his former partner and mother of his children, Kim Porter. More recently, Diddy opened up more than he ever has before, appearing on a podcast with his good friend Dream Hampton where he discussed Kim and how time hasn’t healed his wounds yet
“Anybody that’s lost a mother or lost a soulmate it takes time. It takes time. They say time heals all wounds when it comes to mothers…I don’t think that’s the case,” he said on the Yes Girl podcast, holding back tears. “I don’t think anyone would ever understand how hard it is to be a Black mother.” After his Mother’s Day tribute to Kim yesterday, Diddy has now announced Instagram that he’s jumping off the grid.
This is the second time Diddy has decided to take a hiatus from social media since Kim’s passing, and we can only hope he’s taking all the time he needs to better himself and how he’s feeling. Diddy’s son, Justin Combs, recently opened up about his father’s current state, detailing how he’s still healing.
“He’s doing fine. He’s prayed up now, and everything is good,” Justin said. “He’s just healing.”
