Demi Lovato Performs 'A Dream Is A Wish Your Heart Makes'

We’re just hours away from The Disney Family Singalong premiering on ABC, and the special has unveiled a preview of Demi Lovato‘s performance in anticipation for the big event.

Performing “A Dream is a Wish Your Heart Makes” from Disney’s 1950 animated classic Cinderella, the pop star belts out the ballad’s timeless lyrics as kids and families from around the country thank healthcare workers and others combating the coronavirus pandemic.

“A dream is a wish your heart makes/ When you’re fast asleep/ In dreams, you will lose your heartache/ Whatever you wish for, you keep/ Have faith in your dreams and someday/ Your rainbow will come smiling through/ No matter how your heart is grieving,” Lovato croons in the brief clip, wearing a white Fendi hoodie, diamond choker and heart-shaped earrings.

The former Disney star joins a multitude of artists and celebs for the at-home concert special, which will feature performances by the likes of Christina Aguilera (“Can You Feel the Love Tonight”), Ariana Grande (“I Won’t Say [I’m in Love]”), Tori Kelly (“Colors of the Wind”) and more.

The television event will also culminate with the long-awaited reunion of the cast of High School Musical, who are set to perform “We’re All in This Together” along with Disney Channel stars from The Cheetah Girls, Descendants and Disney+ meta-reboot High School Musical: The Musical: The Series.
