Hold the cream and sugar, Delacey is a “black coffee” drinker — and the only sweetener she’ll take is a good man in her new music video, which is exclusively premiering on Streets Talkin today (March 26).

After co-penning Halsey‘s No. 1 Streets Talkin Hot 100 hit “Without Me,” the Los Angeles-based songwriter-turned-singer, born Brittany Amaradio, will shine in a spotlight without anyone else after dropping her debut album Black Coffee tomorrow, March 27 HITCO/Delicate Flower.

“‘Black Coffee’ sums up my whole debut album. It’s truthful and unapologetic because I was never playing by any rules when I wrote it. I never wanna sugarcoat anything,” Delacey tells Streets Talkin. “The music video came about a lot like most things I create, which is off of a feeling and instinct rather than overthinking. I saw this dingy haunted-looking banquet room where we were shooting and we shot two takes of an emotional performance and left it at that because it felt real.”

The gifted lyricist is stirring in the gritty visualizer, aimlessly prancing around the antiquated hall wearing a man’s white button-down shirt while stuck in between an ex that left her bitter and a new guy who’s sweet on her. Delacey might’ve threatened “Bi–h, don’t steal my man” in the syrupy vocals of her single “My Man,” but now the sweetest things her man says to her “Makes me want to be your bi–h.”

Her vulnerability pours over onto the screen, and her cup will overflow later tonight when she hosts a YouTube live stream album release party at 11:30 p.m. ET.
