Ciara and Russell Wilson Announce New Children’s Book

Ciara and her husband Russell Wilson will inspire kids across the world to reach for the stars in their new children’s book Why Not You?  

Taking its name from their Why Not You Foundation, founded in 2014, the book aims to “inspire young readers to see the value in themselves, be brave, and go after their biggest dreams!” 

The power couple joined forces with Random House Books for Young Readers to publish the book and leaned on Jessica Gibson and JaNay Brown-Wood for illustrations. The book releases on March 1, 2022. 

In other news, she recently explored a new fashion venture under the brand name LITA by Ciara. 

Ciara’s most recent album, Beauty Marks, came out in May 2019. It included the platinum single “Level Up” and the Kelly Rowland-assisted “Girl Gang.”

She released “Rooted,” a new cultural anthem featuring Ester Dean, in August 2020.
