Plus, a toast to Arsenal Efectivo for their first chart top 10 ever with ‘En La Fuga.’
Bad Bunny’s new single “Estamos Bien” debuts at No. 9 on the Hot Latin Songs chart dated July 14, earning the 24-year old his eighth top 10. It his second highest debut as a lead act following “Te Boté” (by Casper Magico, Nio Garcia, Darrel, Nicky Jam, Ozuna, and Bad Bunny), which landed at No. 3 in May.
“Estamos'” debut on Hot Latin Songs — which blends airplay, sales and streams — is almost entirely driven by streaming activity. The track earned 6.4 million streams in the week ending July 5, according to Nielsen Music, and also starts at No. 8 on the Latin Streaming Songs chart. (Helping awareness of the track is Bad Bunny's self-directed official video, which premiered on YouTube on June 28.)
With the debut of “Estamos,” el conejo malo logs five titles on the tally: “Te Boté” at No. 2 (which led the chart for seven consecutive weeks), ”Estamos,” the co-billed “Madura” with Coscuella (No. 24), “Amorfoda” (No. 34), and “Original” with Arcangel (a debut at No. 37).
Meanwhile, California-based group Arsenal Efectivo, led by Francisco “Shrek” Rodriguez, earn their first top 10 on a Streets Talkin chart as their debut studio album En La Fuga climbs 14-9 in its 19th week on the Regional Mexican Albums chart.
The set — released through Rancho Humilde in Nov. 2017 – earned roughly 1,000 equivalent album units in the tracking week, most of which stem from streams.
Concurrently, En La Fuga bumps 44-36 on the Top Latin Albums chart.
