Antonio Brown Tweets Two-Word Response To Ben Roethlisberger’s Apology

It has become quite clear that Antonio Brown still holds some ill will towards his former Pittsburgh Steelers teammates.

Since being traded to the Oakland Raiders this offseason, the All Pro wide receiver has called out fellow wide receiver JuJu Smith-Schuster, and threatened former safety, and current ESPN analyst, Ryan Clark.

On Monday, Brown shared his thoughts about quarterback Ben Roethlisberger, though he needed just two words to get his point across: Two Face.

Brown’s not-so-cryptic tweet came immediately after Roethlisberger issued an apology for the way he criticized the star wide receiver last November. At the time, Roethlisberger called out Brown for running a poor route in the final moments of the game, which ultimately allowed Denver Broncos nose tackle Shelby Harris to intercept his pass.

According to Dale Lolley of DK Pittsburgh Sports, Roethlisberger told KDKA-TV’s Bob Pompeani on Monday:

“I took some heat and deservedly so for some of the comments on that show and especially towards him,” Roethlisberger said. “I genuinely feel bad about that and I’m sorry. Did I got too far after that Denver game? Probably.”

In response to Big Ben’s comments following the Week 12 loss, Brown initially told reporters (H/T Dale Lolly), “I’ve got big shoulders. I can take it. Constructive criticism is only for you to get better. It’s not personal.” The damage was already done though, and the Steelers lost four of their last six, as AB went on to miss the team’s regular season finale en route to demanding a trade.

For those wondering, the Steelers and Raiders aren’t scheduled to play each other this season.
