2 Chainz has become synonymous with the professional sports teams of his hometown in Atlanta, GA. Now, the Drench God is taking his talent from the hardwood to the turf field.
The 40-year-old will be headlining 2018's MLS All-Star Concert presented by Target on Sunday, July 29. The dynamic performance will also feature an opening set from the Cheat Codes trio at 6 p.m. ET in Atlanta's Historic Fourth Ward Park.
“I am thrilled to be headlining the MLS All-Star Weekend Concert in my hometown,” Chainz tells Streets Talkin. “Thank you to the League and Target for having me and I can’t wait to see all the fans in Fourth Ward Park.”
Fans hoping to attend the free concert are encouraged to RSVP on the concert's website. A simple registration does not guarantee entry as patrons will be ushered in on a first come, first serve basis. The concert comes three days prior to the MLS All-Stars taking on Italy's Juventus (Aug. 1) at the state-of-the-art Mercedez-Benz Stadium in Atlanta.
