Philadelphia native AR-AB has come forward to speak out on being name-dropped in rap star Drake’s “Back To Back” freestyle and explain why he thought Meek Mill would go in on his rival.
In AR-AB’s perspective, he figured Meek would have been prepared with multiple disses instead of his sole “Wanna Know” Drizzy diss by now.
“Let’s just say it ain’t happen yet. Yeah, it could happen,” AR-AB said when asked if he was signed to Drake’s OVO Sound. “I’m not even gonna lie, you know. After I heard it I’m thinking ‘This can’t be it.’ Meek come from Philly streets. I’m thinking, like, there was gonna be some more sh*t than that. So, we all was just waiting like ‘Nah, this ain’t the end of it. That’s just the beginning of it.’ You know what I’m saying? And then come to find out, that was the end of it. I’m not even gonna lie, man. I thought it was gonna be like five f*ckin’ Drake disses out by now. I’m like ‘Damn, Meek gonna go hard. This a good opportunity because Drake is at a higher level than him.’ So, it’s like I’m thinking this a good opportunity for him to get more fans or get more stripes.” (VLAD TV)
