Tupac Shakur infamously alleged that Puff Daddy and Biggie Smalls were involved in the armed robbery and shooting outside of the Lower Manhattan Quad Recording Studios that left the rapper hospitalized in 1994.
During a recent interview with Hip Hop Wired, “Haitian Jack” – who was deported to Haiti in 2007 – reflected on being on the opposite end of ‘Pac’s verbal assault and hinted that the person who shot ‘Pac that night in New York City is currently incarcerated.
“Whenever it comes to ‘Pac, it feels like I’m blamed,” Jack says. “I know who’s behind it and we’ll get into that one day. But the person that’s behind it is serving life right now. Let me tell you man, whenever you go out of your way to get someone killed, put in jail and slander their character, all those things end up coming back to you – especially a person who has nothing against you or has done nothing to you.”
Despite Jack not clearly stating who was directly responsible, many have inferred that he is speaking of James “Jimmy Henchman” Rosemond.
While he doesn’t exactly implicate Henchman, Jack does offer his thoughts on the former businessman, who is currently serving a life sentence in prison.
“He is who I thought he was – a bitch,” Jack says.
In regards to Pac calling him a snitch within the song, Jack believes, “That wasn’t Pac’s idea. Pac was told to say that.”
“Well it’s funny, they all want to claim that I’m linked to the government, but if I was linked to the government I would be in America [now],” he says.
