Lou Phelps is keeping it in the family with his latest single, enlisting big brother and frequent collaborator Kaytranada for “Want To (For the Youth).”
The track follows up recent cuts by the pair, like “Average” and “What Time Is It?” from 001: Experiments, as well as the Jazz Cartier-featuring “Come Inside.”
“It’s a song for the youth to encourage them to do what they want to,” explained Phelps in a statement, “The song raps about materialistic stuff, so in the video I become invisible at certain times, leaving the material things floating like the gold chain or the purple jackets.”
